Desert storms,sand dunes & oases

So Dubai is one of the most toured destinations in the world, not because it is a rich country but because of its diverse tourist attractions .Yes there is a hotel in the shape of a boat sail :). The very first stop is definitely the biggest airport i had ever laid my eyes on with friendly workers to welcome you into their country. The cab drive to Deira town was relaxing and welcoming. The different aromas of grilled meats and blended juice spread across the streets, as we passed by the Sheraton to the corner of Pierrer Cardin store upto the bus station of Sabukha Road. The friendly merchants ready to help with luggage and the convenience of taxi cabs was a lesson i think many should adopt.

The Jumeira Palm was as breath taking as the pictures on Google, no photoshop needed whatsoever and the Burj Al Arab with the Wild Wadi right outside its gates was more glamorous than any movie made it to appear. The Gold Souk was a vision in shimmering gold and diamonds with price tags to make anyone run for their money. The dancing fountains at the Dubai mall were beautiful with the soothing music to dance to as the Burj Khalifa stood right infront, so tall and majestic in the dark with flashing lights.

The bus ride to SharJah was the most relaxing bus ride i had ever had, not to mention we were only three in the bus,LOL! The boat ride to the Museum, across the blue waters, was super calming and not forgetting the trip to Naif Souk was worth the wait for shopping with the merchants marketing their Burberry and Chanel bags. The Emirates and Ibn Batuta malls were glamorous with the artificial snow villages and aquariums and not to forget the line up of Rodeo drive designer shops from Chanel to Chloe to Paris Hilton and evryone in between.

Indeed Dubai is the summer place to be, but dont forget sunscreen, an oversized hat and a pair of shades but you can just buy form the many friendly vendors.
